French raggae music blares from a small radio. Emmanuel mops the kitchen. He whistles along to the music. As the beat picks up, he starts singing into the mop like a microphone, dancing around the kitchen. Olivia enters and stands in the doorway to the kitchen. Emmanuel doesn’t see her. She is impressed by his stellar dance moves and laughs quietly.
Emmanuel stops dancing as soon as he sees her.
He turns down the radio.
Olivia says, “Look at you go! You’re such a good dancer!”
Emmanuel looks down, shyly, continuing to mop.
